I have known Kelsey since my photography journey started so when she reached out wanting to have her family pictures done at their metro Detroit house before they moved, I couldn’t say no! Kelsey wanted a documentary style family session which means no poses but capturing memories.
The beautiful summer day started inside in the living room. They piled on the couch for some laughs before kids wanted to show off their bedrooms. Their beds and toys were of course the favorites. Before the sunset we headed outside so they could hammock on the porch. Like how cool is that! The porch was set up perfectly to put the hammocks up. Next, was skateboarding on the driveway. Everyone showed off their skills! To end the night, they made a bonfire. It was such a blast and the best part is that I was able to tag along to see how they lived their day to day life.
